Merchild on Rock

Description

Our Handmade Wooden Merchild on Rock is carved slowly by hand and painted in layered ocean hues — deep blues, soft teals, and gentle sea greens that shift like light under water. He rests upon his wooden sea rock, calm and watchful, as turtles wander past and coral grows around his world.

Children lift him from his rock and send him swimming through coral reefs. Sometimes he is a guardian of the lagoon. Sometimes he is simply resting between adventures. The story changes every time because the story belongs to your child.

Crafted from sustainably sourced beechwood and finished with child-safe, non-toxic paints and sealants, this piece is designed for open-ended, small world play. It pairs beautifully with ocean animals, stacking waves, or nature-inspired play scenes.
